Win32 is slow after upgrading from 1.9h to 2.2

Aug 6, 2011 at 7:31 AM

After uninstalled 1.9h and installing 2.2, I now have two problems:

1) Execution from the debugger is now horribly slow, regardless of whether I choose my Win32 or x64 configuration.  If I turn off VLD from its .ini file then the speed comes right back to normal.

2) I am getting all sorts of (internal?) leaks that I never got with 1.9h, even though TraceInternalFrames is set to 'no'.

Are the two possibly related and how can I address them?

Thanks!
Craig

I have exactly the same problem. But before v2.2 I had the version 2.1

Are you using a debug build of VLD or a release build of VLD?

I'm pretty sure it's the release version.  I just downloaded and installed vld-2.2-setup.exe.
