VLD 2.2 Not Detecting Memory Leak in DLL

Development Setup:

OS: Windows 7 32 bit

IDE: Visual Studio 2008 Professional

VLD version: 2.2

The vld version 2.2 is detecting memory leak in the exe but not detecting memory leak in a dll that is attaching with the exe. I have mentioned the same dll name in vld.ini file under parameter ForceIncludeModules. I also copied the same ini file where vld_x86.dll, my exe and supporting dlls reside.

However when I explicitly include the <vld.h> statement in the dll, then it detects memory leak in the same dll. But I have many dlls that need to test for memory leaks and it is not feasible to go in each dll codes and include the header file. Please suggest how to get it resolve.

I also tried with older vld version 2.1 having the same issue.

I do not know what can I suggest. ForceIncludeModules work on my machine.
