vld.h compile Errors

Oct 31, 2010 at 6:56 AM

I am new user of VLD. Ask a simple question.

When i simply use #include "vld.h" after install and add both include and lib file in the project using VS2008 team. I got compile 11 errors;

just like:

1>c:\vld\include\vld.h(122) : error C2065: “HMODULE”:undifined.

How can this be, or how I could use it correctly?

I got it. Add #include <Window.h> before #include "vld.h".

Hi,

to VLD developper:

I think is a bad idea to have to include an external library like windows.h before vlh.h.  But another alternative is to modify vld.h and modify all constants like HMODULE, NULL, etc.

This post helped me, thank you very much! I had exactly the same issue.

#include <windows.h>

So far i cannot tell whether the VLD-Team can define any of those types or not.
